The best thing about crowdfunding is that the craziest dreams can come true through the kindness of strangers. Not everyone can give money, but we all have a network in which we can share that crazy dream. Perhaps we have a set of skills that can create something in honor of that crazy dream.

As a student, I didn’t have a lot of money to give to this particular crazy dream; creating a non-profit international bookstore in Copenhagen. But in the pursuit of new skills, challenges and the chance of helping make a dream come true, I created Worldly Quotes​.

By allowing anyone in the world to add their favorite quote to a map and explore other people’s quotes, I wanted to build on top of the mission that the girls of Ark Books had; to introduce Denmark to International literature, and to introduce the world to Danish literature.
